Clients opting for any Virtual Webmaster service receive a discounted price o­n the service when compared to the standard hourly rate for ad-hoc maintenance. Payment is made quarterly and clients can end the contract after only 3 months or continue, no long term commitment.

Details of Service and Costs

Webmaster Contact - We will become the primary contact for all technical and non-technical enquiries relating to your website. We fix any reported problems, answer generic Web site questions, and refer questions about your company or products to the appropriate person at your company, if they are routed to us.

User Support - We will maintan and support user accounts registered with your website and provide support to your registered users and any visitors directly. Meaning users and site visitors are able to bypass your own staff completely, freeing them up for other tasks. We provide support by email, our dedicated support centre and by telephone.

Web Site Tuning - An integral part of a Webmaster's responsibility is the o­n-going tuning of your Web site for best visitor navigation and search engine rankings. Your Virtual Webmaster will make recommendations, and with your approval, make the necessary changes or enhancements.

Web Site Maintenance & Expansion - Because of the dynamic nature of most websites, they tend to expand and change o­n a regular basis, usually driven by visitor feedback or demand. Our Virtual Webmaster service will make it easy for you to have your Web site changed or improved. The Virtual Webmaster will create new Web pages, modify existing contact forms, scan photos and optimize them for the Web, basically any changes you require.

Weekly Website Backup - we will back up your website including, databases, main directory and subdirectories on a weekly basis for the three months of the contract. We will hold a rotation of 4 backups at any given time. Restoration is limited to 2 during any 3 month period.

Traffic Reporting - We will supply reports on a monthly basis relating to your website traffic and visitors.

You may display the Gold VM Logo on your website to notify users that support is provided by us or a simple text link to the support centre, we will assist with informing  your users, if required..Cost of the Virtual Webmaster Service

The Virtual Webmaster service is paid for quarterly, and is based o­n an hourly fee of £30 (much less than standard commercial web development rates and ad-hoc maintenance rates). The Gold monthly fee is £250 - payable quaterly, and includes the following as standard in addition to the service oulined above:

5    hours Web site maintenance (making requested changes)
0.5 hours Fine Tuning (check and resubmit search engine rankings; and more)
0.5 hours producing reports. Sent to you o­nce a month, outlining work undertaken.

Any additional work o­n your Web site will be charged at the rate of £30 per hour.
Your Virtual Webmaster will estimate time to complete any requested improvements or modifications, and will not begin work until your approval has been received.Remember that Unlike "website support", your Virtual Webmaster is a proactive service, ensuring the smooth operation of your website and not reacting to problems.
